A decent start
Published by Textbook 3 years, 3 months ago in Online PokerSigned onto Full Tilt tonight and began with a nice mini-rush at a 0.25/0.50 table:

The session as a whole ended up being pretty nice. I played 30 hands and doubled my $20. I was able to see 58% of the flops — often with just one or two opponents because I had raised pre-flop everytime I had anything.
Best of all, I won all five showdowns (two ties, actually). Even one time when all I had was a pocket pair of fours. The second tie actually sucked: It was a $20 pot and I had the guy beat with A♥T♣ against A♦4♠ until the board paired nines on the river and the Jack on the board played.
Still, can’t complain.
That’s a pretty damned good result. Like Doyle said in Super/System, if a table is tight: play loose; if a table is loose: play tight. If 2-3 people on a small money limit table are following you to the flop, that’s the definition of a tight table.
Too bad I went in the tank my next session.
*shrug*
